Several well-known shows, including Lost (2004-2010) and Twin Peaks (1990-1991, 2017), clearly draw inspiration from The Prisoner. The series itself is a concise but powerful story about a British spy who finds himself held captive in a mysterious seaside town. There’s even talk that Nolan might be considering a new take on this classic.

Just to clarify, Onion Games first launched Stray Children in Japan last year on December 26th. Initially, it was only available on the Switch. However, when Onion Games announced a follow-up release for PC via Steam, they also stated that this version would be offered in both Japanese and English.

Variety reports that Cillian Murphy will be an executive producer, and thankfully, Steven Knight – the brilliant mind behind the show – is coming back as writer and creator. We’re going to meet a whole new generation of the Shelby family, and it’s going to be told over two seasons, each with six hour-long episodes. I can’t wait!

I just read that Suzanne Heathcote, who’s known for her work on The Thursday Murder Club and Killing Eve, is going to be writing the TV adaptation of The Lying Game. It’s a really intriguing psychological thriller for young adults. The story follows four friends who were kicked out of boarding school years ago because of a lie that spiraled out of control. Now, they’re back together and have to deal with a dangerous secret they thought they’d left in the past forever. I’m excited to hear that Ted Gold and Susan Rovner are executive producing, along with Heathcote and the author of the book, Ware.
