Gov’t Shutdown: Still Happening?! 🤯

According to data from Polymarket’s prediction market – a place where, let’s be honest, people are mostly just throwing darts at the calendar – a staggering 43% of participants believe this will all rumble on until October 15th or later. Thirty-five percent are optimistically hoping for something between October 10th and 14th, while a measly 20% still cling to the notion of things resolving themselves before October 9th. A concerning 3% believe Congress might actually *do* something before October 5th. One imagines these 3% have never actually *been* to Washington.

Final Fantasy Tactics Complete Soundtrack is now available digitally on iTunes and Steam

As a huge fan, I was so excited to see the Final Fantasy Tactics Complete Soundtrack released! It’s got all 71 tracks from the original game, plus 31 songs we’ve never heard before – all in one album. Just a heads-up though, you won’t find it on Spotify or Apple Music *yet*. Right now, it’s only available on Steam and iTunes. If you click the iTunes link on an iPhone or iPad, it’ll open in Apple Music. On a computer browser, it shows the price as $23.99. But, if you already own Final Fantasy Tactics – The Ivalice Chronicles on Steam, you get a little discount – it’s $22.98 with the bundle!

Crypto’s New It Crowd? 🧐

Over 25,000 souls, founders, investors, policymakers, and Web3 developers, flocked to Marina Bay Sands. All eager peepers, naturally, determined to discover just where this most peculiar industry is headed. One wonders if they brought their smelling salts.

Senator’s Plan to Tax Bitcoin Buddies: The Great Crypto Mining Excise Adventure!

Lo and behold, the Empire State has rustled up quite the parlor debate over crypto mining. Why, State Senator Liz Krueger, that upstanding lady of letters, has trotted forth a bill to levy coin upon coin from miners for their insatiable electricity-guzzling. Announced on a fine Wednesday, it seems the pressure on proof-of-work mining is mounting like a New York minute, all thanks to worries over ballooning electricity costs and the shocking amount of juice these mines are slurping.

John Krasinski’s A Quiet Place Part 3 Movie Release Date Delayed

Paramount Pictures has announced a new release date for A Quiet Place Part III, the latest movie in the horror series. It will now come out on July 30, 2027, instead of July 9, 2027 (according to Deadline). This change avoids a direct competition with James Gunn’s Superman sequel, Man of Tomorrow, which is still scheduled for the earlier date. As of now, Part III is the only film set to be released on July 30th.

Drova: Forsaken Kin Review

When I first started playing, I’d already noticed people comparing it to games like The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind and Gothic – which, sadly, I hadn’t had a chance to play. I’d say the Elex games are probably the closest thing I can compare it to. Keeping those comparisons in mind, and after reading some reviews, I was anticipating a game that started very open-ended, with a dark and realistic fantasy world, and where my character would feel quite vulnerable at the beginning. And that’s exactly what I found.

Bitcoin Options: Will They Even *Notice*?

They assure us, these… *experts* do, that this is merely a ā€œreturn to normalā€ after last week’s… excitement. Excitement! As if the market isn’t already a fever dream of numbers flitting about with no discernible purpose. They claim no impact on the spot markets, which, conveniently, have been gaining this week. A most fortunate coincidence, wouldn’t you agree? šŸ¤”

The Real Housewives of Orange County Recap: Taking the Cake

This episode is full of drama! Tamra is upset with Emily because Emily said she didn’t trust her. Then, Emily gets angry at Tamra for planning to talk with Katie. To add to that, Tamra is also mad at Heather for saying she doesn’t trust *her*, but Heather is frustrated that Tamra never considers *her* feelings. Heather is also upset with Gina for saying she doesn’t find her funny, and Gina is mad at Shannon for telling Heather that she feels the same way. Throughout the season, Tamra and Jenn have been feuding – which we’ve been tracking on the ā€œBeef Chartā€ – and now we need to add that Tamra is angry Jenn followed the member of 98 Degrees (yes, we’re saying the band name now) that Tamra allegedly had a relationship with. Have we covered everything? Is that all the drama for now?

Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson Are Road Tripping Together

Quite a bit has changed for both singers since Zayn Malik left the band in 2015, leading to a break in 2016. Malik and Tomlinson had a disagreement after the band split, and it even played out publicly on Twitter. Thankfully, they’ve made amends and are now friendly enough to happily spend hours together in a car. Perhaps it will bring back memories of their time in 1D, or at least give fans some fun karaoke moments.

Maigret Review: Georges Simenon’s Classic Makes for Near-Perfect Crime TV

Created and overseen by Patrick Harbinson – known for compelling, character-focused shows such as Homeland and Maigret – this series centers on Chief Inspector Jules Maigret (though everyone, even his wife, simply calls him Maigret) as he tackles three distinct investigations over six episodes. Featuring a measured pace and excellent acting, particularly from Benjamin Wainwright in the lead role, Maigret demonstrates that there’s still a place for intelligent, well-written crime dramas on today’s television.
