The updated 8BitDo Wireless USB Adapter 2 is now compatible with the new Switch 2 console. 2026 marks the anticipated release of “Onimusha: Way of the Sword,” which is 20 years after the last fresh installment in the series, “Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams.” Although the return of the series has sparked enthusiasm, we were curious about Capcom’s delay in producing a new Onimusha game considering their active support for other flagship franchises like Resident Evil. At Summer Game Fest Play Days, producer Akihito Kadowaki explained that Capcom has simply been quite occupied, which is why there has been such a significant gap between the launch of new Onimusha games.

“Would you mind if I do just a couple more levels?” I asked.

The free demo became available after the full game was launched in January. However, this demo stands alone and cannot be linked to the full game because of distinct specifications that prevent any transfer of save data from the demo to the main version. The demo includes story levels up to the promotion of Code 2, but it can only be played in an offline, single-player format.

Disgaea 7 Complete, which was recently announced, is set to debut in Japan for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch next month, but its western launch will exclusively take place on the Nintendo Switch 2.
