YouTube content creator Nate the Hate was first to announce that the Red Dead Redemption 2 (RDR 2) port for Nintendo Switch 2 is expected to debut concurrently with an enhancement update for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 versions of the game. Previously, RDR 2 had been playable on these consoles via backwards compatibility. Nate the Hate anticipates that the RDR 2 release will occur on Switch 2 and other platforms either this summer or in the autumn.
