According to The Game Post (and noted by Eurogamer), Sony argues in a recent court document that Tencent is actively trying to avoid responsibility for their mobile game, Light of Motiram, released in December 2024. Sony claims the game closely resembles the Horizon series. Tencent previously attempted to get the lawsuit – originally filed in July 2025 – dismissed, arguing Sony was trying to control the conventions of the game genre. However, Sony now asserts that the damage is already done and Tencent is just trying to deflect blame.
