After a week since its release, it’s clear that All Under Heaven isn’t one of Paradox’s disappointing DLCs. While it currently has a 72% positive review rating after over 1,600 reviews – making direct comparison to recent expansions for games like Stellaris or the CK3 coronation DLC difficult – the release has significantly boosted player numbers. At its peak, nearly 77,000 players were online simultaneously, a level the game hasn’t seen in years.

Don’t get too excited, Stardew Valley fans – this isn’t a new mod! It’s simply a creative artist’s take on the game. She’s shared some concept art showing what the game world could look like with a different style, and it’s quite striking.

Crypton Future Media announced that the Miku Expo tour is coming back to North America from April 12th to May 19th. The shows will feature a live band performing alongside new visuals and updated performance material.

To give you an idea of how well the new Switch 2 is doing, it’s sold over double the amount of the original Switch in its first two months (4.7 million units). It’s also surpassed the launch sales of both the PlayStation 4 (7.5 million units) and PlayStation 5 (7.8 million units) in their first two quarters. Because of these strong sales, Nintendo now expects to sell 19 million Switch 2 consoles this year, a significant increase from their initial prediction of 15 million. If Nintendo meets this revised goal, the Switch 2 will have outsold the original Switch, PS4, and PS5 during their respective launch years.

Hutchinson notes that this is unusual for major game franchises. It’s typical for a series to decline after its original development team moves on. Often, new teams are hesitant to make significant changes because they don’t fully grasp what originally made the game special.
