His friend Shayne doesn’t drink on the job, mostly because he doesn’t seem to have a job. While Andy Cohen might have a drink at the end of a TV reunion, it’s definitely not how he starts. Another cast member, Venus, pointed out that Marcus’s drinking seems less like a common habit and more like a sign of a larger problem.

Viewers need to quickly understand why a character is feeling a certain way, because that consistency makes the story and its humor feel genuine. Just as I was praising the group for having a smooth trip, things immediately derailed at dinner. Heather started playfully teasing Lisa about a new watch, and it quickly became clear I was missing some context. It turned out Heather was referencing a disagreement that happened during their layover, and I was shocked production hadn’t anticipated this. These women really shouldn’t be left unsupervised without cameras rolling! In a private interview, Heather explained that Lisa and Angie had argued during the layover because Lisa thought Angie had copied her style with a Cartier watch. Apparently, after seeing the Cartier store during their layover, Heather decided to buy a watch for herself and one for Whitney as a joke.

Reviews of Fackham Hall show it’s a very silly, *Downton Abbeystyle parody packed with jokes from beginning to end. Some of those jokes are genuinely funny, some rely on wordplay, and others are definitely inappropriate. Actress Thomasin McKenzie remembered one particularly risqué scene fondly, but also admitted it initially worried her.
