In a video on YouTube, Rob Nelson (VP of technology at Avalanche) shared that deciding how to bring Hogwarts Legacy to the hypothetical Nintendo Switch 2 was not an easy task. He explained they had two options: either update the game from the current Nintendo Switch version or begin with assets suitable for next-generation systems. Although the simple path would have been to upgrade from the existing Nintendo Switch, they chose the more challenging route as they believed starting with next-gen assets would result in a better representation of their world. They’re pleased they could deliver this improved experience.

Initially unveiled at the Nacon 2025 presentation earlier this year, Unfinished Business centers around a hostile mercenary group seizing control of the advanced OmniTower. Their objective is to acquire the power core within this structure, and when they manage to secure stolen components from the Metro West precinct, they’ll gain the ability to commandeer any OCP technology, including RoboCop.

As a dedicated fan of Smite, I can’t help but echo the sentiments shared by “TheJumboman.” It seems that an overwhelming surge of non-scaling items, such as Bragi’s, Tyrfing, and Qins, have taken over the game’s meta. These items seem to be in every build conceivable, leading me and many others to question if there is any space left for creative strategies or even a touch of diversity. It feels like every effective build revolves around dealing a fixed amount of damage, which can make the gameplay feel repetitive and uninspiring as suggested by “StarCrackerz.” It’s like showing up at your favorite restaurant only to find that the entire menu has been replaced with toast! I yearn for more depth in itemization so we can experience something beyond just hitting opponents with static numbers.

Introducing Kali into the Smite universe has definitely shaken up the usual gameplay dynamics, sparking a storm of enthusiasm and transformation. Players have observed that her skills ramp up the intensity in battles. One player, AnalJackett_, commented, “Kali really reminded me of Poseidon, how players rely heavily on his ult.” This feedback fits into a wider discussion: players must now reevaluate their tactics, as Kali becomes crucial for effective team combinations. Her ult isn’t just an impressive finisher; it’s a game-changer that skilled players can leverage to win any skirmish. However, this raises intriguing questions—are we moving towards a time where some gods are simply too powerful? The discussion is heated, implying that while Kali is exciting to play, she may be teetering on the edge of being overpowered.
