Despite all the series’ current polish, some enjoyable features seem to have disappeared. A new Exorcist film was announced in May 2024, and will be produced by Blumhouse Productions and Morgan Creek. This announcement followed the disappointing box office performance of David Gordon Green’s 2023 film, The Exorcist: Believer.
