Ross Marquand not only provided the voice for Professor X in Season 1 but also voiced Apocalypse – a major villain from X-Men: The Animated Series who made a brief appearance in “Tolerance is Extinction Part 3.” While participating in a Walking Dead panel at FanX Salt Lake Comic Convention, led by Collider, Marquand (known for playing Aaron in the AMC series) revealed that the upcoming season of X-Men ’97 will be “very dark” and will feature “a lot of scenes” with him as Apocalypse, then stated:

A number of members from the Harry Potter cast has responded to her comments about trans people, particularly Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson, who put their support behind that community. Following the latter’s viral interview, where she spoke about Rowling opening doors while also mentioning their political differences, the author took to X (Twitter) to share her own thoughts. Part of the response reads:

Kenan Thompson and Johnny Ryan Jr., who work together as producing partners, are creating a new project currently called Macho. They’re developing it through their company, Artists for Artists, which is also behind a remake of the 1980s horror film Sleepaway Camp – a remake they believe is worthwhile. The script for the biopic was written collaboratively by Savage’s brother, Lanny Poffo (also known as The Genius), who sadly passed away in February 2023, and screenwriter Eric Shapiro.

I remember you once saying, “I’ve always tried to use limitations and look at them as strengths.” And honestly, watching Father Mother Sister Brother, it really feels like a movie that came about because of limitations. Was that how it all started?
Definitely. It’s super limited, if we’re being real. There’s no action, no violence, no big drama, no nudity, no sex – basically, it doesn’t have a lot of the things we’re used to seeing in movies. What’s left is a really observational, minimal style. It’s still a cinematic experience, though, because it is a film – it has its own musicality, and the performances from my fellow actors are just incredible. But yeah, it absolutely grew out of working with those limitations.

In a video interview with The Hook shared on X (formerly Twitter), Gleeson addressed rumors that he quit acting, explaining that he simply took a break from being on camera and hadn’t left the profession entirely. “I’m happy to say it wasn’t due to any negative experiences with people,” he stated when discussing his time away from on-screen roles. “Thankfully! I know that sometimes happens, which is unfortunate,” he continued.
