Justified Revived Gunslingers for the 21st Century

I’ve always been captivated by Justified – it feels both familiar and fresh. It really reminds me of Elmore Leonard’s work, with that snappy dialogue and those characters who aren’t easily categorized as simply good or bad. It’s a modern gunslinger story, but it doesn’t feel limited by time. What truly makes it special, I think, is that it *gets* the contradictions at the core of the Western genre. Raylan Givens isn’t your typical hero; he’s flawed, impulsive, and his upbringing in Appalachia weighs on him just as much as his job does. And then there’s Boyd Crowder – a villain who’s so smart and articulate, and who occasionally shows a glimmer of goodness, that it’s hard to know where he stands. That complexity is exactly what viewers want today. In a world saturated with high-quality TV, Justified proves the Western isn’t a relic of the past; it just needs to adapt and grow. It’s brilliant, really.

Netflix Released an R-Rated “80% Sex” Thriller With More Erotic Scenes Than All The Fifty Shades Movies Combined

This 98-minute thriller comes from Brazil and, surprisingly, was only reviewed by two critics. However, one review quickly became famous – and a bit of a talking point – for those who enjoy a steamy and suspenseful Netflix experience. Decider’s John Serba bluntly stated, “This movie is junk with sex in it.” Paired with an audience member’s comment that the film is “80% sex and nothing else,” it seemed destined to become a guilty pleasure, similar to the notoriety achieved by films like 365 Days and Fifty Shades of Grey.

Forget ‘The Pitt,’ This New “Emotionally Powerful” Medical Drama Is Back With Season 2

Fox’s surprisingly good show Doc is back for a second season. The series centers on Dr. Amy Larsen, a talented surgeon who loses eight years of her memory following a car crash. While it has many elements common to medical dramas, it feels more authentic. It’s easy to connect with Amy and understand the challenges she faces as she tries to piece her life back together. The show focuses more on Amy’s personal struggle with who she is than on the medical details. It’s also inspired by the real-life experience of a doctor who went through something similar. With so much attention going to shows on cable and streaming services, Doc often gets overlooked, but it’s one of the best medical dramas to come out in recent years, and anyone who enjoys the genre should definitely check it out.

From demo to Early Access: community, combat, and crafting monsters. Talking Aethermancer with the founder of Moi Rai Games

Even now, after it’s been released, Aethermancer offers a free demo on Steam that you can check out. Being a roguelike means you’ll restart often, which might seem strange for a game where you usually form connections with your team. But in this game, you don’t catch monsters individually; you capture their essence, letting you bring them back later.
