Destiny 2 Players Breathe a Sigh of Relief: The End of Pyramid Aesthetic Raids
As a devoted Destiny 2 fan, I’m not criticizing the pyramid aesthetic out of dislike for its design – quite the contrary. However, it seems that many players, including myself, yearn for more variety in our gameplay experience. SavathunsMom, a well-respected voice in the community, has pointed out that while raids like “Vow of the Disciple,” “Root of Nightmares,” and “Salvation’s Edge” each have their distinctive flavor, they all share a common thread: geometric pyramid structures. User “torrentialsnow” echoed this sentiment, noting that these raids maintain their unique feels but expressing a desire to explore new territories rather than the familiar pyramid architecture. The grand triangular obelisks that tower over Guardians evoke both fear and awe, yet after three iterations, there’s a growing sense among players that Bungie should mix things up a bit.
