Andrei Van Roon, who leads the League of Legends team, explained that they had originally intended to release the video in January, but moved up the date after the Bloomberg report became public.

You can download the story demo for Trails beyond the Horizon on all gaming platforms. However, the battle demo is currently exclusive to PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. While there isn’t a dedicated demo for the new Switch 2 console yet, owners of the original Switch can play the older demo. I’ll update this article if a Switch 2 demo becomes available. Keep in mind that only progress made in the story demo can be carried over to the full game when it releases next month.
