Even after fifty years, this film remains remarkably relevant. While the political scandals it portrays—linked to Nixon’s administration—seem almost simple by today’s standards, the core story is still compelling. It follows two dedicated journalists who relentlessly pursue the truth behind a conspiracy involving wiretapping, intimidation, and deception. The film powerfully depicts Nixon’s intense desire for power and his unwillingness to view his rivals as just opponents. Starring the late Robert Redford and Dustin Hoffman as reporters Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein, it’s a lasting example of excellent investigative journalism and a determined fight against misinformation.

HBO is famous for shows like The Sopranos and Game of Thrones, but it also offers excellent post-apocalyptic dramas. The Last of Us, adapted from the popular video game, tells the story of a world overrun by a mutated fungus. Another critically acclaimed series, Station Eleven, depicts a world rebuilding itself twenty years after a devastating flu pandemic wipes out most of humanity.

Netflix has experimented with different anthology formats, including seasonal shows like Beef and Monster, and episode-based collections like Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities. They also have Easy, which features a variety of sweet and funny romantic stories with different characters. However, only one Netflix series truly stands out as a top-tier anthology: Love, Death & Robots.

During filming of the highly anticipated sequel in New York City, photos surfaced online, including one of a person in a hoodie believed to be Sydney Sweeney. This sparked rumors that Sweeney has joined the cast of The Devil Wears Prada 2, along with Justin Theroux, Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Lucy Liu, B.J. Novak, and Lady Gaga. None of these actors appeared in the first Devil Wears Prada movie.

Okay, so I’ve been following both Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord and the second season of Daredevil: Born Again, and things are getting intense! In the Star Wars series, we saw Vario sneak around and basically set Maul up to take out Krim. Then, this Pyke captain, Kalt, steps up as the new boss and pledges his loyalty to Maul. But over in Daredevil, Daki actually sends Maul’s location to Lawson, and Lawson gives the go-ahead for a raid. It’s a bit messy because Two-Boots thinks they’re not ready and tries to call in the Empire, which Lawson quickly shuts down. It’s a wild ride with both of them!

Many anime opening and closing songs are incredibly memorable, and it’s easy to see why. Beyond just being catchy tunes, they often bring back strong feelings and memories of beloved storylines, characters, and key moments from the anime, making each listen a special experience.
