In the course of a live stream for Overwatch 2, a streamer was discovered using unauthorized software, having neglected to deactivate their wallhacks prior to broadcasting.
In the game Overwatch, hackers remain a persistent problem due to its contentious reporting mechanism that doesn’t effectively penalize miscreants. Numerous streamers have voiced their concerns about hacking, as aimbots and wallhacks persistently wreak havoc on the ranked leaderboard.
Initially, a streamer unintentionally exposed his dishonest actions, broadcasting live on Twitch before disabling his cheats. This was the case with TVPedri, a lesser-known streamer who appeared to be wallhacking during his stream, an act that was recorded and reported on channels such as X and Noobhunter.
Wallhacker goes live on Twitch by accident
As a dedicated fan, I recently came across some intriguing gameplay footage shared by Noobhunter and X account @lePardal. In these clips, it appears that TVPedri might have been using wallhacks, providing an advantage to see the exact location of every opponent, along with their health bars and ultimate charge levels. Interestingly, despite this apparent edge, TVPedri didn’t manage to secure any kills in either clip – perhaps due to a lack of aim assistance or other cheats.
“Definitely turned off that aimbot though,” wrote one viewer.
I’ve been playing Overwatch since 2016, kid! His son was still spamming his Twitch link in our game chat. (Handle: JunkerQueen#2207)
I started playing Overwatch back in 2016, and his brat continued to share his Twitch stream during our game chats. My handle is JunkerQueen#2207.

Some spectators are not hopeful that TVPedri won’t be held accountable for any wrongdoings. The absence of consequences for cheaters in the ranked system is a frequent complaint from both the gaming community and prominent content producers.
“I know for a fact that this cheater will never get banned,” wrote one comment.
In a past tweet, Frogger expressed his disapproval towards Blizzard by stating, “It seems more likely to get banned for using a swear word than for using a skilled aimbot,” highlighting his concern about the effectiveness of their reporting system.
TVPedri’s channel doesn’t currently have Video On Demand activated, which means we can’t determine when he last streamed live. Additionally, no signs point to TVPedri receiving any penalties related to the recent event.
One concern among players regarding Overwatch’s ban system is the issue of alleged cheaters. Critics argue that Blizzard needs to improve how they manage these situations because the current system may lead to innocent players receiving incorrect bans due to inadequate cheater detection, and it seems that reports are rarely reviewed by a human.
