Overwatch 2 players want Blizzard to hire fan after “fantastic” fix to lackluster perk

A player of Overwatch 2 has successfully persuaded others that Blizzard should consider hiring him, as he devised an outstanding modification to a hero’s underwhelming ability.

The introduction of perks in Overwatch has significantly transformed the game, providing players with a wider array of choices during matches as it substantially boosts their heroes’ capabilities.

Although certain advantages have significantly boosted characters’ power levels, others have fallen short in comparison. One instance of this is the ‘Past Noon’ perk for Cassidy, which restores the ultimate charge during Dead Eye when it expires.

In most cases, players don’t allow the final round (ultimate) to persist throughout its entire length before initiating kill shots.

Meanwhile, one creative player has devised an ingenious solution for this feature through the Overwatch Workshop, and many gamers are eagerly hoping that this modification will be incorporated into the game during a future update.

Overwatch 2 player finds simple fix to Cassidy’s worst perk

In a post, user SammyIsSeiso demonstrated how they believe the perk should function.

They clarified that whenever you activate High Noon, the ultimate meter starts refilling again, starting at 5%. It increases by another 5% every second it’s active. Using the ultimate does reset this to zero, but if you cancel the ultimate or let it expire, the percentage shown on the ultimate meter is refunded back to you. The minimum refund is 5%, while the maximum can be up to 40%.

In the video, you’ll notice a shift in the action, and it seems quite straightforward to address – something that Blizzard might be capable of executing swiftly, should they choose to do so.

Other players found this option impressive, with some advocating for Blizzard to consider hiring SammyIsSeiso permanently.

“Fantastic idea, nice work here. Hopefully Blizzard sees this,” one praised.

“Blizzard hire this man,” someone else proclaimed.

“You should apply!” encouraged another.

There’s some uncertainty about whether Blizzard will implement this change directly, however, considering the positive response it got, it might prove to be a straightforward success for the creators of the hero shooter game.
