In addition to the upcoming collaboration with LE SSERAFIM, Overwatch 2 is also working on another partnership that’s not as widely known at the moment.
It’s typical for Overwatch to collaborate with other companies for events, but Blizzard has significantly raised the bar when it comes to OW2 partnerships.
To date, viewers have enjoyed a variety of exciting mash-ups, including One Punch Man, Cowboy Bebop, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Transformers, and many others.
In contrast, not all collaborations require skins as a part of the package, and this is precisely true for Overwatch 2’s recent partnership with Gunnar. This collaboration is particularly appealing to fans who main Reaper.
Or:
While many collaborations involve skins, that’s not always the case. A prime example is Overwatch 2’s latest team-up with Gunnar, which caters specifically to fans who favor Reaper.
Overwatch 2 teams with Gunnar in new collab
On March 10th, Gunnar Optiks introduced their newest Blue Light Gaming glasses, designed in collaboration with Overwatch 2.
Improved focus means improved gameplay – here’s how Gunnar glasses have enhanced your gaming experiences, as shown in this image.
These Reaper-styled spectacles feature the grim skull emblem of the hero, along with sophisticated lens technology designed to alleviate eye strain.
Alongside the glasses, you’ll receive a personalized Overwatch 2 pouch and a cloth showcasing the menacing Talon hero at his finest.

It’s worth noting that this collaboration with a glasses company isn’t Overwatch 2’s first one. They’ve done it before.
In the year 2023, two years ago, Blizzard collaborated with the Korean eyewear brand Gentle Monster on a partnership that stood out as one of the unlikeliest alliances at that moment.
As a gamer, I’m super hyped about the latest collaboration between my favorite game and Gunnar, but unlike other collaborations that come with in-game cosmetics or unique skins for characters like D.Va, this partnership doesn’t include any unlockable goodies for us gamers. Still, it’s gonna be awesome!
In a chat with PC Gamer, Art Director Dion Rogers shared that the Overwatch team is keenly exploring opportunities for cross-overs in the sequel, aiming to make these collaborations more impactful and dynamic by adding visual effects (VFX) to the cosmetics they create.
But just because not every hero is a candidate for collaboration, it doesn’t necessarily mean that their designs will be any less creative or unique. Some heroes might lend themselves more easily to the creation of cosmetic items compared to others.
