What is happening in Toward the Stars and Dreams Arc?

In the concluding chapters and eleventh storyline of Oshi no Ko titled ‘Reaching for the Stars and Dreams’, we delve into the repercussions of the movie The 15-Year Lie. Characters from B-Komachi strive to fulfill their ambitions and make strategic decisions, leading to a grand confrontation with Hikaru Kamiki.

Aqua challenges Hikaru Kamiki regarding Ai’s demise, and Hikaru admits his part in it. He accuses Ai of abandoning him at a crucial time. However, Aqua presents a DVD on which Ai expresses her affection for Hikaru in her unique manner.

However, Aqua doubts Hikaru was responsible for all the fatalities and believes instead that Fuyuko Niino, a previous member of B-Komachi, is the culprit. Simultaneously, Nino recognizes Ruby has eclipsed Ai as an idol and intends to kill her.

Aqua challenges Hikaru for his scheme to manipulate Nino into attacking Ruby, as it’s revealed that the one who stabbed Ruby was actually Akane in disguise. Meanwhile, Ichigo Saitou is holding back the real Nino.

In an effort to safeguard Ruby at all costs, I devise a desperate plan: I’ll feign an attack from Hikaru, stage our fall from a cliff, and make it seem like we both perished in the process – pinning the blame on him. Chapter 164 brings the heartbreaking news of Aqua’s demise, leaving Akane to grieve his loss on the shore.
