Oscar Mayer is now hiring for its 2026 Wienermobile team! Recent college grads can apply to become a ‘Hotdogger’ until January 31, 2026.
The Hotdogger Program, which began in 1988, is designed to train and develop future leaders while also commemorating the 90th anniversary of the famous 27-foot Wienermobile.
Oscar Mayer is looking for ‘Hotdoggers’ to travel the country for a year as full-time brand ambassadors. The role involves representing Oscar Mayer at events and spreading positivity – essentially, bringing smiles to people across the nation.
The 12 members of the 39th class of Hotdoggers will each spend a year traveling across the country in the iconic Wienermobile. They’ll be responsible for driving and taking care of the vehicle while visiting over 30 states, appearing at hundreds of events, creating fun content, and connecting with Oscar Mayer fans.
Okay, so I was checking out the job description for the Kraft Heinz Hotdoggers, and it sounds pretty good! They make a base salary of $35,600 a year, plus you get $150 each week for food and travel. On top of that, they offer full health benefits, 18 days of paid time off, and even cover your hotel costs while you’re on the road. Not bad at all!

Requirements and how to apply
If you’re interested in applying, please visit the Kraft Heinz Career Page. You can also stay up-to-date on the Hotdogger program by following us on Instagram and TikTok.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
We’re looking for someone with a bachelor’s degree – ideally in public relations, journalism, communications, advertising, or marketing. You should have strong communication and people skills, and be outgoing, friendly, and enthusiastic. Bilingual applicants are welcome! A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required, and you must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without needing visa sponsorship. This role requires working major holidays, being willing to travel extensively for a year (including staying in hotels or company-approved housing), and driving the Wienermobile daily. Finally, you’ll need to pass a DOT physical, drug and alcohol screening, a driving record check, and a Kraft Heinz background check.
Oscar Mayer wasn’t the first to offer a popular job opportunity. In 2025, Burger King also gained attention when they started looking for a ‘Whopperologist’ – someone dedicated to perfecting the Whopper.
