TT Games announced their participation in The Game Awards on December 9th. During the show, hosted by Geoff Keighley, they revealed a new trailer for their upcoming third-person action game, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, which retells the entire story of Batman. They also confirmed the game will be released on May 29, 2026.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, revealed in August, is the most ambitious LEGO project centered around Batman ever created. Players will be able to explore a vast open world using a variety of vehicles, including different Batmobiles, the Tumbler, and Batcycles.
Alongside Batman, the game features many other well-known characters, including allies like Jim Gordon, Catwoman, Robin, and Nightwing, as well as villains like the Joker, Penguin, Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy, and Bane. The developers have faithfully recreated classic scenes from Batman films, but with the playful and humorous style that LEGO is known for.
