‘Only Murders in the Building’ Season 5 Casts Jermaine Fowler

Actor Jermaine Fowler will be reprising his character for multiple episodes in “Only Murders in the Building” during its fifth season, according to reports from EbMaster.

Fowler has been added to the already announced cast of “Only Murders,” which includes Renée Zellweger, Christoph Waltz, Logan Lerman, Téa Leoni, and Keegan-Michael Key. Just like with other seasons of this Hulu series, specifics about characters and storylines for season 5 are being kept secret. At the moment, production for season 5 is ongoing.

A talented stand-up comedian, Fowler made his screen debut with a leading role in the CBS sitcom “Superior Donuts.” His other television appearances include roles in the FX miniseries “A Murder at the End of the World” and the truTV comedy series “Friends of the People.” Up next for him is a part in the Tracy Morgan show “Crutch,” streaming on Paramount+. Fowler has also featured in films such as “Coming 2 America,” “Sorry to Bother You,” “Judas and the Black Messiah,” and “Ricky Stanicky.

He is repped by UTA, Entertainment 360, and Yorn Levine.

2024 marked the airing of the fourth season for the show “Only Murders in the Building.” In addition to the regular cast members Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez, Season 4 featured a stellar ensemble that included Meryl Streep, Eugene Levy, Zach Galifianakis, Eva Longoria, Jane Lynch, Richard Kind, Melissa McCarthy, Kumail Nanjiani, and Molly Shannon.

For its third season alone, the TV series garnered a record-breaking 21 Emmy nominations, making it the highest number of nods for any single season so far. The duo Martin and Hoffman jointly developed this series, with Hoffman additionally taking on the role of showrunner. They both share the title of executive producers alongside Short, Gomez, Fogelman, and Rosenthal. The studio behind it is 20th Television.
