One Piece inspires new slogan by Japanese police

As a lifelong fan of One Piece, I can’t help but feel a sense of awe and admiration for Eiichiro Oda. Growing up with this masterpiece has been an incredible journey, one that has shaped my perspective on storytelling and artistry in ways I never thought possible.

Word on the street in Japan suggests that the impact of Eiichiro Oda, the mastermind behind One Piece, has reached their local law enforcement.

At this stage, there’s no need for an introduction when it comes to One Piece. Considered among the greatest anime and manga, not to mention one of the longest-lasting, Eiichiro Oda’s pirate tale has captivated audiences across generations for years now.

Luffy and his crew, the Straw Hats, have grown into well-known figures over time, and it’s always surprising where their influence might pop up – maybe even on a road sign!

As a gamer, I’m sharing an interesting tidbit: The famous One Piece voice actor, Kouichi Yamadera (Luffy in One Piece), revealed the Kumamoto Police Department’s traffic slogan during his Kumamoto Dokyan!? show. It reads, “I’ll become the king of Safe driving!!!”. #OnePiece #Luffy #Kumamoto #KumamotoDokyan #KouichiYamadera #Kurimushichuu #KumamotoPrefecturePolice #TrafficInfoBoard

Spotted in Kumamoto, Japan, where Eiichiro currently resides, the slogan for drivers is now: “I’m going to be the King of Safe Driving!!!”

In the world of One Piece, numerous kingdoms exist, each ruled by a king, some of whom our pirate heroes have encountered directly. It’s apparent that the authorities are informed about these rulers and strive to promote safe travel on what can be likened to the open seas.

In the storyline of One Piece, we’re moving into the Elbaf Arc as part of the Final Saga. This indicates that our journey is nearing its end, and Luffy will eventually confront Imu and maybe find the title artifact, but there’s still a lot of ground to cover before then.

Currently, the Straw Hat crew finds themselves confined within a box resembling a toy, confronting a fresh deity linked to the Elbaf Kingdom. The situation is intriguing on its own merit, but what makes it even more captivating is that this is the second Sun God we’ve encountered. The other one is an ancient power that Luffy taps into when he transforms using his Gear 5 form.

Well, you’ve got the gist right! Essentially, One Piece is different from shows like Demon Slayer, Jujutsu Kaisen, or My Hero Academia because its conclusion will be as much about the journey as the destination. Given that it’s been running for over 25 years, it seems to support this notion. This long-running series is a significant part of pop culture and might continue even beyond the next wave of manga creators, eventually concluding when it feels ready.
