As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for unconventional narratives and a soft spot for anti-heroes, I must say that Strange Scaffold’s latest offering, “I Am Your Beast,” has certainly piqued my interest. Having spent countless hours navigating the labyrinthine worlds of games like “El Paso Elsewhere,” I found myself drawn to Alphonse Harding’s plight – a weary ex-secret agent who’s had enough of being pulled back into the fray.

Strange Scaffold unveiled the sequel to “El Paso Elsewhere”, titled “I Am Your Beast”, in September. Initially, it was rolled out with a brief but impactful promotional effort. However, today marks the introduction of a fresh free update, expanding the game by nine new levels for players to explore.

The new features are included in the Support Package, which acts as a conclusion to the game’s narrative. In “I Am Your Beast,” players take on the role of Alphonse Harding, a disgruntled former agent who has had enough of being summoned for one last mission. After Harding refuses his old employers at the Cover Operations Initiative, the agency sends numerous agents to eliminate him instead.

As per Strange Scaffold, the concluding part is set to showcase Cover Operatives Imitative agents who have been traumatized. These characters serve as the narrators for the upcoming content, which might be the reason why players all of a sudden possess extraordinary physical strength and abilities, such as the ability to detach someone’s head from their body through a powerful punch.

In a recent development, Strange Scaffold unveiled a new trailer for their game, “I Am Your Beast,” showcasing some of the positive feedback and awards it’s garnered thus far.

I Am Your Beast is currently only available on PC, but an iOS port is coming in January 2025.
