Right now, the gaming world is abuzz with the surprise launch of Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered – an updated take on the beloved RPG game from 2006. Interestingly, Bethesda chose this moment to hint at their ongoing work on a fresh chapter in the series as well.
During the live stream unveiling The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, Todd Howard, the head of Bethesda studio, confirmed that development on The Elder Scrolls VI continues. He mentioned this in passing.
Obviously, we’re working on the sixth chapter here.
Currently, the main focus of the studio’s announcements is on “The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered”. Consequently, details regarding the next installment in the series are unlikely to be revealed imminently.
We’ve been eagerly anticipating “The Elder Scrolls VI” for quite some time now. Bethesda unveiled it back in 2018, but thus far, all we’ve seen is a brief CG trailer. All we really know is that this will be another significant game from Bethesda. Since “The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered” was made with the help of Virtuos studio, it’s not likely that its development significantly affected the sixth installment in the series.
As a die-hard fan, I’m thrilled to share that I can now immerse myself once more in the magical world of Tamriel! The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered has landed on my favorite platforms – PC, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PlayStation 5. What’s even better? This epic adventure is available simultaneously on Game Pass, bringing the joy to both PC users and Xbox console gamers!
