Reaching Harcane Grove, keep your eyes peeled for a unique equine – a white horse sporting an elegant spiral horn on its forehead. Feel free to approach it stealthily and climb aboard if you fancy! However, be wary; ferocious Minotaurs are known to inhabit the same region.
When you decide to ride the Unicorn, it will take over from your current horse. This means that every time you fast travel or do similar activities, you’ll be on the Unicorn.
However, the Unicorn isn’t considered as a ‘owned’ mount and it has a tendency to return to Harcane Grove when it’s not being ridden. Furthermore, the Unicorn is unable to wear Horse Armor.
Beyond that point, the Unicorn is among the swiftest mounts within the game, befitting its mythical status. In Oblivion Remastered, it reaches a speed of 34, an improvement from its original speed of 29. Notably, only the Black Horse and Shadowmere surpass it in speed, with each possessing a speed of 38 in Oblivion Remastered.
