Oblivion remake is keeping more and more people awake. Well-known journalist and insider decided to comment on the matter

There’s been a lot of buzz lately about the potential remake of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, and it seems we’re getting closer to its release. Although official confirmation is yet to be announced, persistent rumors and leaks suggest that it’s highly likely. This certainty has grown even stronger now that a well-known figure in the gaming world has publicly mentioned it (through Insider Gaming).

Jeff Grubb, a journalist and industry insider, spoke about the claim made in the GameBreaking News section of the latest Giant Bomb video that Oblivion was set to launch within the next few weeks. However, based on the data he has, it seems like the game might be released towards the end of this month instead.

According to Detective Seeds’ post on X the previous day, it appears that his sources have already verified the release schedule for the remake of Oblivion, with plans set for the week commencing on April 21st. This event follows the anniversary celebration in The Elder Scrolls Online. Detective Seeds is quite certain about this information.

Lately, all trailers have been taken down from the Steam page of the Deluxe edition of Oblivion, leading some to speculate about a potential forthcoming announcement.

It’s been reported that the rumored remake of “Oblivion” is expected to be built using Unreal Engine 5, with Virtuos Games studio overseeing its development. The goal is to introduce significant updates to the game’s fundamental mechanics, such as combat, stealth, and archery.

It’s important to keep in mind that all the information discussed previously is merely speculation from the industry. As such, it remains uncertain until the news has been verified and officially announced.
