Fans of Nutella will be excited to know that the popular hazelnut spread is coming to the United States as an ice cream! This marks the first time the company is offering a frozen dessert in North America.
Nutella is now available as ice cream in North America, thanks to a partnership with Wells Enterprises. The new lineup features two frozen treats – Nutella Ice Cream and Kinder Bueno Frozen Dessert – both sold in pint and cone sizes.
Deliveries to convenience stores will begin on December 1, 2025, and the product will be available in more stores starting in spring 2026.
These new ice cream treats will have a generous layer of Nutella on top, rich hazelnut ice cream blended with even more Nutella, and a final layer at the bottom. The cones themselves are drizzled with Nutella and have a special surprise – a Nutella-filled tip at the very end!
Nutella ice cream is finally on the way
According to Isabella Chia, Chief Marketing Officer at Wells Enterprises, Wells has been making ice cream for over 100 years and continues to find new and exciting ways to do so.
And it sounds like there will be plenty of more Nutella products on the way in the near future.
The launch of Nutella Ice Cream and Kinder Bueno Frozen Dessert is the first step in a series of innovative products aimed at boosting sales and keeping the freezer sections of convenience stores and supermarkets interesting.
I first heard about this line last summer when it dropped in Europe – it was for Nutella’s 60th birthday! It blew up pretty quickly, becoming super popular in places like the U.K., Italy, and Germany. I was so excited when it finally came to my region!
If you’re an adventurous ice cream fan, you might be interested to know that some really unusual flavors have become popular in 2025, like ice cream made with breast milk and a gelato that tastes like KFC gravy.
Okay, so even Taco Bell couldn’t resist bringing back a classic! They dropped the Tacolate, which is basically a new and improved Choco Taco – and honestly, I was super excited to see it!
