In October 2024, Nurse Hannah became popular on TikTok with her “17 Diapers” video, in which she disclosed that she collected seventeen soiled diapers scattered around the house belonging to her newly born child.
Mothers worldwide started sharing videos discussing their personal postpartum challenges, rallying behind Hannah as she went through her experience.
Support for Hannah significantly decreased starting from December, following the release of a video showing her son in a shopping cart, which led to accusations of child abuse against both Hannah and her husband.

The now-deleted video shows her handing the child an item while in a supermarket’s freezer section, causing him to raise his hands in what appears to be a form of defensive body language.
Many observed the response and suggested it could indicate the boy’s fear that he might be about to receive a physical punishment from the parent.
Imjustdana, a user on TikTok, shared a video they’d reposted and expressed curiosity as to why a child of that age is JUMPING at everything. They think it requires further investigation.
Other clips featuring Hannah gained significant popularity, including one that implied she was denying food to a child and another where she appeared to be enjoying a meal while he remained unfed beside her.
In a different clip, she’s seen heading to a shop to purchase a jacket for her child. However, upon discovering its price, she decides against it, which led to criticism when the video was reposted online following its initial deletion.
“She reminds me of Ruby Franke,” commented one user.
As a gamer, I’d put it this way: “Regardless of how tight money was at home, I always managed to have good sneakers for gaming and a warm jacket. Essentials like those are non-negotiable!

She exclaimed that dealing with the situation at hand was rather extraordinary, as she went on to describe how her husband and son often frighten each other, resulting in the boy’s behavior in the supermarket.
In the video that everyone seems to be fascinated with, they’re simply entertaining themselves. They’re consistently engaging in playful activities. Their main goal is to frighten each other, but it’s all just fun and games. There’s no hidden agenda or secret events taking place. You should never fully trust social media content; I assure you, there’s nothing out of the ordinary happening here.
In a subsequent video, she addressed a remark linking her to Ruby Franke, the YouTuber who received a 30-year sentence for severe child abuse around early 2024.
She found it utterly amusing that she was being compared to Ruby Franke at this moment, considering the current state of things where individuals can transform even the smallest occurrences into significant events. In today’s society, people are so eager to gain fame on TikTok that they will share almost anything just to accumulate views and attention for themselves.
If my kids are content, thriving, and getting the nutrition they need, it’s a strong sign that things are going smoothly.
Nurse Hannah reported to CPS & rumors of arrest
On December 4, 2024, TikTok user Anthony Blackwell shared a video revealing that he discovered the whereabouts of Hannah and her spouse, and subsequently notified child protective services about them, as well as reporting Hannah to the local nursing board.
He warned, “CPS might show up at your doorstep.” Furthermore, he mentioned that due to your behavior, which violates the nursing board’s ethical guidelines, he would be reporting this to the state nursing board.
Many others across TikTok have said they reported her to CPS and the nursing board as well.
Starting December 5, whispers about Hannah’s alleged arrest, stemming from news reports, started circulating on TikTok, causing speculation among users as to whether such an incident actually took place.
Upon examining the records for Hannah’s claimed whereabouts, TopMob failed to discover any evidence of an arrest taking place during the specified release date.
