On Tuesday, a trailer for the upcoming movie “War 2” was released, highlighting an intense clash between NTR Jr and Hrithik Roshan. This sneak peek has amassed approximately 30 million views on X platform and 3 million views on Instagram, across various languages.
In ‘War 2’, Kiara Advani makes her debut in a leading role, stepping into this cinematic world. This film is helmed by Ayan Mukerji, who has previously excelled in the fantasy adventure ‘Brahmastra’. Notably, this is his initial exploration of the fast-paced, action-packed spy thriller genre.”

Aditya Chopra produced this spy universe, which launched with the Tiger series starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. The saga started with “Ek Tha Tiger” (2012) and “Tiger Zinda Hai” (2017), continued with “War” (2019) featuring Roshan and Tiger Shroff, followed by “Pathaan” starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham in 2023. “Tiger 3” will also release in 2023. The female-led film, “Alpha,” starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, is expected after the sequel to “War.” Lastly, anticipate a showdown titled “Tiger vs Pathaan,” featuring both Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan.
In the Tiger series, Salman Khan portrays Avinash Singh Rathore ( alias Tiger ), a character from India’s intelligence agency RAW. Kareena Kapoor Khan plays Zoya Humaini, who is associated with Pakistan’s ISI. In “War”, Hrithik Roshan takes on the role of renegade RAW agent Kabir Dhaliwal and Shashank Shroff as his apprentice Khalid Rahmani. In “Pathaan”, Shah Rukh Khan is depicted as the exiled RAW agent Pathaan, while Deepika Padukone plays Rubina Mohsin, an ISI operative.
