Node Nexus is coming to PC via Steam with free demo available now

Indie Japanese group SurFun has made available on PC through Steam a free trial version of their game titled “Node Nexus“. This demo allows players to explore the game’s combat system, which presents fantasy RPG-inspired battles in an innovative way, using data flow diagram visualization. In this representation, both party members and enemy creatures are depicted as data or module blocks.

In this demo, you’ll be challenged to vanquish the Demon King within 30 minutes, but you can pause the time to sort things out. The main goal is to arm your team members with items and have them battle enemy creatures by linking nodes. Defeating enemies rewards gold, which can be spent on new items, characters, and even more enemies. However, it’s crucial to keep your characters alive as much as possible because there are a limited number of lives, and losing lives will impact the final score.

As an enthusiast, I’d like to share that you can find the screenshots and details for the indie game, Node Nexus, just underneath. This intriguing title will be accessible in Japanese, English, and Simplified Chinese. However, a specific release date for this game is yet to be disclosed.
