There’s been quite a buzz among players on multiple platforms about it. Two Point Museum – Switch release explained
It’s worth noting that the new game, Two Point Museum, was launched on March 4th of this year across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms. Yet, its release on Nintendo Switch has not been announced. This decision might seem peculiar given that the two preceding games, Two Point Hospital and Campus, were both available on this console. However, upon closer thought, there could be two plausible reasons behind this choice.
- Bad optimization on Switch – while it is true that previous installments were ported to Switch, Reddit discussions shows that many fans were not happy about Two Point Campus optimalization. Because of that, some fans believe that the decision of not porting the newest game was right.
- The announcement of Nintendo Switch 2 – a large number of people believe that Two Point Museum will not appear on Nintendo Switch for the reason described above, which is also related to the second argument, i.e. the release of the Switch 2. Some players think that there is a better chance of this game being supported on the new Nintendo console than on the old one.
Given these circumstances, it appears that the possibility of Two Point Museum being released on Nintendo Switch might be quite low. Nonetheless, since it hasn’t been confirmed yet, it’s advisable to keep an eye on Two Point Studios’ social media platforms for any updates.
