The highly-regarded detective adventure series AI: The Somnium Files has been lauded by fans globally. A fresh installment in the franchise is set for release on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. Players will assume the role of Kaname Date, the main character, who reunites with the AI-Ball, Aiba, to address a baffling case and save Iris, a popular internet personality, from a life-threatening escape game. In “No Sleep For Kaname Date – From AI: The Somnium Files”, a new gameplay mechanic called “Escape” is introduced. Similar to previous games, players will inspect crime scenes and listen to testimonies during the “Investigation” phase. During the “Somnium” phase, they’ll explore dream worlds of suspects and key witnesses. In the newly added “Escape” sections, players must solve puzzles to break free from locked rooms, which provide essential clues for solving the case as they switch between these three phases.
