Today, the significant overhaul for Moon Studios’ captivating Early Access ARPG, “No Rest For The Wicked,” titled “The Breach,” has been released. This extensive update brings a wealth of new content such as fresh territories to discover, mysteries to solve, weapon types to experiment with, and adversaries to confront.

What’s in The Breach?

In this updated version, players will encounter a richer storyline with 18 brand-new scenes, filled with top-notch cinematic animation and fresh quests. The game world is nearly doubled in size, incorporating two new handcrafted areas: Lowland Meadows and Marin Woods, which introduce a Blight hazard to beware of. Additionally, players can interact with new NPCs in Hunter’s Vale and Marin Village, as well as delve into dark cave environments.

To enhance gameplay, the endgame Plague System, revamped Food & Hunger mechanic, and updated Status Effects are being introduced to provide a more engaging combat and progression experience. Over 150 weapon options, new Gauntlet and Wand archetypes, multiple all-new armor sets, and a complete Shield rework await players.

The game features the addition of numerous new enemies and bosses, including campaign bosses, plague bosses, updated bosses, two new enemy factions, critters, and more. For those seeking a challenge, there’s an entirely new Hardcore Mode with permadeath for high-stakes gaming.

Improvements in performance include DLSS 4.0, memory optimizations, reduced loading times, and smoother physics. Quality of life upgrades encompass updated item previews, tooltip improvements, enhanced fast travel options, and more. Balance changes cover weapons, armor, enemies, systems, and core progression.

The audio experience has been improved with new music composed by Gareth Coker, updated audio coverage, and fresh voiceovers. Lastly, hundreds of bugs have been fixed, addressing everything from crashes to collision issues, visual polish, quest logic, and more.

To gain entry into The Breach, players must first finish the Prologue and then proceed through the main story quests: Sacrament, Of Rats and Raiders, Servant of God, and up to mission 5 of Spoken and Unspoken.
