DESTINYbit has released Nitro Gen Omega on PC (Steam), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Nitro Gen Omega 1.0 is officially released after a period of early access, now featuring a complete main storyline, new characters, cinematic cut-scenes, and a full soundtrack. A demo is available now, letting you play through the first chapter of the story. You can find the launch trailer, screenshots, and more information from DESTINYbit.
NITRO GEN OMEGA, a role-playing game with turn-based combat and a sandbox world, is now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store. It was created by Italian game developer DESTINYbit.
This game, formerly available as an early access title on Steam, takes place in a world after a disaster, now dominated by machines. Players must build a team and battle enemies using a unique, customizable Mech in a turn-based combat system to survive the harsh environment.
Version 1.0 of the game introduces a main storyline where players go on an epic adventure to save the world from a machine threat. This update includes new characters, cinematic cutscenes, and original music, all adding to the NITRO GEN OMEGA story.
The game features a unique turn-based combat system with stunning animated cutscenes. Each turn, you’ll first plan your team’s actions on a timeline, then watch those decisions play out in dynamic anime-style sequences. Managing your crew is crucial – you’ll need to build relationships between teammates and keep track of their health, energy, and spirits through various activities. Your crew’s condition directly affects how battles unfold. You can also venture into dangerous wastelands, accept jobs and missions, and gather resources and parts to improve your Mech.
A demo* is also available, where it is possible to try the first chapter of the Main Quest.
*demo not available on the Epic Games Store
