DESTINYbit announced that Nitro Gen Omega will officially launch on May 12. The game has been playable on PC through Steam Early Access since June of last year. Now, the full release will expand availability to the Epic Games Store on PC, and to consoles including Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
The announced release date is in the same month that the studio previously indicated in their development roadmap from last December.

After a fantastic journey, NITRO GEN OMEGA is officially launching on May 12th! The game is leaving Early Access and releasing its full 1.0 version.
The game will launch on Steam and simultaneously become available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and the Epic Games Store.
The biggest addition in version 1.0 is the Main Quest, featuring new characters, story cutscenes, and more music.
We’ve also made lots of improvements to the user interface and overall experience, added new mech parts, and included achievements. We’ll be sharing more details in the next few weeks.
It’s been wonderful sharing this journey with all of you. We’re excited to show you what we’ve created on May 12th and hope you’ll be pleased with the results.
