Nintendo Treehouse live returns in the days after the Switch 2 Direct

In anticipation of the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct scheduled for April 2nd, Nintendo has announced an exciting addition: On April 3rd and 4th, two episodes of Nintendo Treehouse: Live will showcase games designed for the upcoming console. While we’re still in the dark about what these games might be, the presentation on April 2nd should provide a clearer picture.

Nintendo Treehouse lives scheduled for the next two days following Switch 2 Direct

The official account of Nintendo America shared the news on social media platforms. The live streams are set for 7:00 am Pacific Time on both days, without mentioning their duration. We’re getting ready for a three-day stretch filled with updates about the Nintendo Switch 2. These live Treehouse streams may not unveil new games or details about the new console, but they will showcase gameplay footage for most of the upcoming games and give us our first glimpse of the new console in action as well.

Today, we’ve discovered that the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 presentation will run for approximately an hour. As this is our initial glimpse at the new console, a significant chunk of time will likely be dedicated to discussing the hardware itself. Key aspects such as clarifying the rumor about Joy-Cons functioning as a mouse, unraveling the mystery surrounding the “C” button, and providing insights into what we can anticipate from the second Nintendo Switch should all be covered during this presentation.

Tomorrow’s presentation has me really excited! I can’t wait to learn more about the release date and pricing of the new console. There have been whispers that it might be released anywhere from late May to July, with June seeming the most likely. I wonder if pre-orders will go live tomorrow or if fans like me will need a bit more time to save up? As for the price, I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it’ll be around $350-$400, but I won’t rule out the possibility of it being $500. Here’s hoping for the best!

At present, there are only three software titles that have been confirmed for various platforms, and it’s expected that some of these will make appearances during tomorrow’s presentation. The upcoming Mario Kart, which was initially unveiled in January, might reappear. Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, even though it’s a known Nintendo Switch game, could still be showcased, potentially demonstrating the new Joy-Con functionality. Lastly, Pokémon Legends: Z-A, another confirmed Nintendo Switch title, has potential to be featured as well. The Pokémon Company typically holds its own Pokémon Presents, but with the launch of a new console, this is definitely an event not to be missed.

Tomorrow’s presentation promises some unexpected elements; we’re simply curious about what those surprises might entail. Could there possibly be a new 3D Mario game unveiled? Will there be any thrilling remakes/updates like The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess or Windwaker? Or perhaps, will there be a fresh addition to the NSO game selections, such as games from the Nintendo GameCube or Nintendo DS library? Anticipation for tomorrow is high – whatever happens, it’s going to be a significant day in the gaming world.
