As the release date for Nintendo Switch 2 approaches, the Nintendo Today app has been sharing valuable insights about some of the console’s exciting new features. Recently, they unveiled a hidden function in the settings menu designed to assist users in locating a missing Joy-Con should it become detached from the main system.
Hey fellow gamer here! I recently stumbled upon an awesome trick while navigating the main menu on my Nintendo Switch. You see, if you tap on the Controller icon, you can choose “Search For Controllers” from the list that pops up. If you ever find yourself in a panic because you can’t seem to locate one of your Joy-Cons, simply select the missing controller from the options provided. Voila! The device will start vibrating and making a ringing sound until you manage to find it and pick it up. It’s like having your very own electronic game of hide and seek!

Recently, Nintendo has shared a plethora of updates regarding the Nintendo Switch 2 since its reveal at the Switch 2 Direct in early April. These updates include details about the customizable GL and GR buttons on the Switch 2’s Pro Controller, as well as the binoculars scattered across the map in Mario Kart World. The most recent announcement made by the app was the scheduled release of a live-action The Legend of Zelda movie in March 2027.
The upcoming Nintendo console boasts a strong initial roster of games such as Mario Kart World, an enhanced version of Cyberpunk 2077, and updated editions for The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild and Tears Of The Kingdom on the Switch 2. Additionally, Nintendo GameCube classics will be accessible exclusively through the Nintendo Switch Online service on this new console, with The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker and Soul Calibur 2 being among the initial playable titles.
Nintendo Switch 2 is set to launch in North America on June 5.
