Nintendo Switch 2 is here – let the banana tossing begin! We survived the wait, so now bring on the games

Hey there fellow gamers! Here’s to a fantastic Nintendo Switch 2 launch day! Just as eagerly, I gave my delivery person a warm embrace when it finally showed up at my doorstep. The anticipation was truly unbearable, especially with the rumors swirling about potential cancellations last week. But, it seems that old-school approach still works – just walk into a store and voila! They’ve managed to produce enough consoles for everyone. Quite a relief, isn’t it? Now let’s dive into our brand new gaming worlds!

Not much to play (yet), but I got my Switch 2

Absolutely, I immediately booted up Mario Kart World on my brand-new gaming system to check its performance basics. However, the true test is yet to come. I’m eager to explore how it performs with Cyberpunk 2077, particularly in handheld mode. So far, the gameplay previews look quite promising.

The heat on my Switch 2 began building up noticeably even from tossing bananas in Mario Kart, so I can’t help but wonder what kind of stress it will endure with other non-Nintendo games. However, it seems that there aren’t many entirely new games launching for the Switch 2 today, mostly just updated versions.

Among the current game launches, Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut stands out as a top priority for me. At this moment, we’re looking forward to RAIDOU Remastered, Donkey Kong Bananza, and Shadow Labyrinth, but their release dates are yet to be announced. As for Metroid Prime 4 and the next installment of Hyrule Warriors, there’s still no word on when they’ll be available.

For now, I’ll tinker with this small device as I’m eager to experiment with its Joy-Con mouse function. Plus, I’ve acquired all the downloadable content for Dave the Diver, ensuring that I have a wealth of activities to engage in.

Don’t forget to show off your new console on Reddit. Now excuse me while I disappear for 40 hours.
