Among the highly rated Nintendo Switch 2 cases available on Amazon are models from less-known brands like Lmcpa and TZGZT. Intrigued by its reputation, I opted for the TZGZT case. Upon initial inspection, it appears robustly built. Given its affordable price under $13, the quality is impressive. Additionally, the package includes two tempered screen protectors along with a mounting frame. However, as of now, I haven’t had the chance to use this case with the Switch 2. I will update my review after launch once I’ve had an opportunity to test it extensively.

8BitDo New & Upcoming Switch Controllers

8BitDo, a well-regarded third-party controller producer, hasn’t publicly announced their products designed for the potential Nintendo Switch 2. However, since the Switch 2 is expected to be backward compatible, a variety of 8BitDo controllers made for the original Switch should still function with the new console.

8BitDo unveiled an impressive new controller for Nintendo Switch this year, and it’s simply outstanding. Priced at $70, this controller is expected to serve as a strong competitor to the Switch 2 Pro Controller. The 8BitDo Ultimate 2 Bluetooth Gamepad boasts two customizable rear buttons, two extra shoulder keys, lockable triggers, TMR magnetic joysticks that surpass Hall Effect, user-defined profiles, and an array of customizable settings like rumble intensity and sensitivity for sticks and triggers. Since it’s Bluetooth compatible, it should pair seamlessly with the Switch 2. It remains to be seen if the 2.4GHz USB-C adapter will also work on the new console. Similar to other premium Ultimate controllers from 8BitDo, it comes bundled with a matching charging dock.

As a gaming enthusiast, I’m thrilled about the latest reveal from 8BitDo – an arcade controller for Switch and PC without levers! Since it comes with Bluetooth support, it’s ready to roll when the Switch 2 hits shelves on July 15. If you’re into Nintendo 64 games on Switch Online, keep your eyes peeled for the 8BitDo 64 Bluetooth Controller. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have a set release date yet, as it’s planned to drop alongside the Analogue 3D.

The final item in the list is a highly useful addition for the Switch, which I plan to try out on the launch day of Switch 2. The 8BitDo Bluetooth Adapter 2 enables you to utilize almost any Bluetooth controller on your Switch. For example, I recently played Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom with an Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller. This adapter is compatible with PC, certain vintage gaming devices, Raspberry Pi, and various other platforms.
