Nintendo Is Giving Fans A Lot More To Spend eShop Credit On

So, Nintendo dropped a cool update today alongside the Kirby news! Now, you can finally use your eShop credit in the My Nintendo Store. That means all those points I’ve been saving up can go towards awesome collectibles – finally! It’s great because I always prefer using existing credit instead of cash.

Wario64 was one of the first people to spot the update, and also pointed out that Nintendo has removed the previous $250 spending limit.

Okay, huge news for anyone who collects My Nintendo rewards like me! Nintendo just made it so we can finally use our eShop credit – that Nintendo Account Balance we’ve been building up – on the My Nintendo Store. Even better, they got rid of the old balance limit! I was able to use a $50 Target eShop code I had saved up, which is awesome. This means we should all keep an eye out for good deals on eShop gift cards now!

Nintendo announced plans to increase production of the Switch 2 this week, following record-breaking sales and a significant impact on the video game market. While Nintendo initially predicted sales of 15 million units this fiscal year, and analysts estimated 17.6 million, the production boost could lead to 25 million units sold by the end of March 2026.

Nintendo announced that the classic GameCube game Luigi’s Mansion will be available on the Switch Online + Expansion Pack service starting October 30th. Originally released in 2001, the game let players control Luigi as he explored and cleaned up a haunted mansion full of ghosts. The game has since been followed by two sequels, released on the 3DS and Nintendo Switch.

In addition to the games already offered, Nintendo Switch Online now includes The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, F-Zero GX, SoulCalibur II, Super Mario Strikers, and Chibi-Robo. Switch Online members can also purchase a GameCube controller for Switch at the My Nintendo Store.
