Nintendo confirms Legend of Zelda live-action movie release date and it’s not far away

Back in November 2023, news broke about the upcoming live-action adaptation of The Legend of Zelda, a project that has Shigeru Miyamoto, the game’s creator, and Avi Arad working together on production.

Filmmaker Wes Ball, known for The Maze Runner series and the latest installment of Planet of the Apes, was subsequently recruited for the director’s position.

Sony Pictures Entertainment and Nintendo are jointly funding this endeavor, and Miyamoto assures us that Nintendo is deeply immersed in the project’s creation – meaning fans can anticipate an exciting experience ahead.
