NFL player Maxx Crosby recently released a rap song called “PlaqueBoy Maxx,” a title that appears to be a nod to both his own name and the Twitch streamer known as Plaqueboymax.
On May 8th, Crosby announced the new track on X (formerly Twitter), excitedly writing, “LETS HAVE A MF DAY!!!!” with a picture of it playing on Spotify. The song, titled PlaqueBoy Maxx, is also available on YouTube, following the release of his recent single, 2AM in Vegas.
Plaqueboymax is a popular streamer and musician who’s even been nominated for a Grammy. Apple Music highlights his work on series like Song Wars and In the Booth. He recently released the EP ‘Crash Dummy,’ along with singles ‘ELASTIBOY’ and ‘Victory Lap’.

Maxx Crosby drops PlaqueBoy Maxx after 2AM in Vegas
The song’s title seems to be a clever combination of Crosby’s name, award plaques, and the artist Plaqueboymax’s moniker, and the chorus simply repeats the line “Feeling like Plaqueboy Max.”
In the song’s chorus, Crosby raps about feeling confident and successful, comparing himself to Plaqueboy Max and Travis Scott (Cactus Jack). He boasts about driving a Rolls Royce and a coupe with large rims, emphasizing a luxurious lifestyle and continuous success (‘Double R back to back’).
The song is characterized by a flat, emotionless vocal style and noticeable autotune, particularly on the chorus. Crosby also weaves in references to Kobe Bryant, Jeremy Lin, Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack persona, and Kim Kardashian throughout the lyrics.
PlaqueBoy Maxx’s song came out soon after Crosby’s “2AM in Vegas,” which became popular online around the time of the NFL Draft. The lyrics mentioning a “new crib in the Bay” led some football fans to connect the song to ongoing player trade rumors.
