Skybound Entertainment and Quarter Up recently announced a fighting game called Invincible Vs., featuring characters from the Invincible superhero series. At The Game Awards, they revealed the game will be released on April 30, 2026, and will include a brand-new superhero named Ella Mental, created by the show’s creators.
Ella Mental has the power to control earth, fire, water, and wind, and she skillfully uses all of them when she fights. She can defend by summoning rocks, attack with fire, and even combine elements for powerful moves – her first-level super attack creates a waterspout that sends opponents flying and hits them repeatedly. Rapper Tierra Whack will provide the voice for Ella Mental.
Skybound and Quarter Up have announced that the first set of characters for Invincible Vs. will include 18 fighters. So far, they’ve revealed 11 of them, including the newest addition, Ella Mental.
- Invincible (Mark Grayson)
- Omni-Man
- Atom Eve
- Bulletproof
- Rex Splode
- Thula
- Robot
- Monster Girl
- Cecil Stedman
- Battle Beast
- Ella Mental (original creation)
Quarter Up is a new development studio created by developers who previously worked at Double Helix, the team behind the 2013 reboot of Killer Instinct. Notably, Quarter Up’s founder, Mike Willette, is well-known to KI fans as the voice of the iconic “C-C-C-C-Combo breaker!”
Invincible Vs. will be available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC starting April 30th. You can find a complete list of winners and nominees from The Game Awards elsewhere.
