Dylan Page, often referred to as “TikTok’s ‘News Dad’,” is perplexed following TikTok’s decision to suspend his account boasting more than 14 million followers.
In recent times, Dylan Page’s fame has soared extraordinarily, making him one of the most widely-followed news accounts on the popular social media platform TikTok.
In February, Page’s humorous remark regarding GTA 6 became the most popular comment on social media platforms, garnering more than 10 million likes from users on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
Last Friday, March 28th, Dylan Page found himself perplexed when TikTok suspended his account boasting more than 14 million followers.
Dylan Page banned on TikTok
Fans started noticing that Page’s account was missing from their TikTok app, so the user shared this update via an Instagram post.
The TikTok message you shared on your Instagram Stories said that your account had been permanently suspended because of repeated breaches of their Community Rules.
Wow, this is unbelievable!”, he continued. “I’ve followed all the rules and there’s no violation I can appeal… I’m attempting to contact someone who might be able to assist. If you happen to know someone at TikTok who could help, please send a direct message. For now, I’ll continue posting on here and YouTube.
People swiftly started creating videos expressing their surprise and dismay as Dylan’s TikTok account was taken down unexpectedly, with numerous individuals voicing their shock at this sudden suspension.
Fortunately for Page, just a few hours passed before his account resurfaced on the platform. Although his original follower number remains intact, at present, none of his videos can be viewed on TikTok.
The exact time when Dylan Page’s TikTok account will be reinstated is unclear, meaning fans need to be patient before they can enjoy his videos once more. In other words, we don’t know when they’ll get to see the self-proclaimed news daddy on TikTok again.
In a few days, TikTok is once again at risk of being banned in the U.S., marking the second instance. Previously, in January, President Donald Trump had issued an order that allowed TikTok to keep functioning within the U.S. for another 270 days, which ends on April 5, 2025.
