New Titanfall 3 leak claims it’s “almost complete” with campaign, battle pass and more

Two individuals within the Apex Legends fanbase are stirring up anticipation and doubts in equal proportions, as they assert that a trustworthy contact has hinted at the impending release of Titanfall 3.

Discussion about the potential development of Titanfall 3 by Respawn was rekindled, with sources such as Osvaldatore and Yorotsuki suggesting a release date in 2026.

Based on sources with a history of reliable information regarding Apex, it’s speculated that Titanfall 3 might make its debut as early as the 2025 Game Awards.

On April 9th, Osvaldatore shared authentic details about the rumored game, asserting that it would be a live-service title featuring a campaign, various game modes, and potentially some Apex Legends characters as well.

He also said it is “almost complete” and is being developed with Unreal Engine 5.

Here’s a more conversational and engaging way to present the information:

Get ready for some exciting updates on Titanfall 3!

– Built using the cutting-edge Unreal Engine 5
– Nearly ready for release (almost complete)
– Offers a thrilling singleplayer campaign
– Includes a live service with Battle Passes
– Main gameplay mode: Extraction
– Additional modes include Team Deathmatch, Control, Arenas, and all the classic Titanfall 2 modes

There’s been speculation that perhaps Titanfall 3 was the game Respawn stopped working on back in 2025, but according to a reliable source, Osvaldatore, this isn’t the case.

It’s accurate to acknowledge that Osvaldatore has shared numerous accurate leaks about Apex Legends, including details on new characters and seasonal updates. However, it’s important to note that he also made an inaccurate leak suggesting that Lifeline and Octane had a baby, and that the baby was supposed to be the new Legend named Conduit. Regrettably, this claim proved to be entirely false. Therefore, while Osvaldatore is generally trustworthy, he can occasionally get things wrong.

Osvaldatore made it clear that his source wasn’t absolutely certain about the announcement or release date, hence he chose not to include this specific detail in his April 9 post.

Titanfall 3 keeps getting “leaked” and never happens

Without a doubt, these leaks sparked skepticism right away, especially given the past unfounded whispers about Titanfall 3 being in production.

2021 found me, Jason Garza (Community Coordinator at Respawn), addressing rumors about Titanfall 3 during a live broadcast. “Keep your expectations in check, buddy,” I shared, echoing my previous statements. “I’ve got to be honest with you, there’s no plan in motion. Zip, zero, nada! We’ve got our hands full with other projects at the moment.

In a subsequent tweet from Respawn’s official account, they clarified that Titanfall remains deeply ingrained in their roots, hinting at possible future developments.

Despite some people claiming otherwise, Titanfall is deeply ingrained within us. Who can predict what lies ahead…

2023 saw Respawn’s CEO, Vince Zampella, clearly confirm that the production of Titanfall 3 had not begun yet, although he expressed his strong desire for its creation to take place.

Additionally, there was a brief flare of optimism when it seemed that a German GameStop was taking pre-orders for “Titanfall 3” in the year 2022. However, these listings were later determined to be errors or mere placeholders.

Considering the past pattern of unreliable speculation, it’s understandable that the community approaches the recent whispers with a dose of healthy doubt.

There’s been no word from Respawn or EA regarding Titanfall recently, leaving the community keeping a close eye out while harboring hopes of resuming the pilot and Titan combat. However, as of now, there’s no definitive news on its return.
