 Today, Square Enix revealed…

  • Monster Arena Tournaments, new and exclusive to Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake.

  • Across the globe, there are numerous battle arenas for monsters, each hosting its own league competitions. To triumph in these events, you must strategically select your best team consisting of up to three rescued monsters. Rescuing multiple monsters of the same species will amplify their power! Gather a powerful squad of creatures that will pave your path to victory and generous prizes!

  • Friendly creatures resembling monsters will show up on the playing field, which can be saved if they’re friendly. However, each one is unique and may require special tactics to save. Some might scatter when they hear specific sounds or detect your scent, while others could be startled by just seeing you. Use your skills or items that offer stealth or odor concealment to sneak up on them.

  • The profession of a Monster Wrangler is particularly advantageous, as it offers skills such as forming a team for the Monster Arena Tournaments. This is due to the fact that a Monster Wrangler in your group ensures that friendly creatures do not scatter when you arrive. Additionally, they can inform you about the number of these creatures present in the surrounding area.

  • In the “Monster Pile-On” assault by the Monster Tamer, the more monsters you’ve saved, the greater the damage inflicted. Furthermore, saving additional monsters grants new skills to the Monster Tamer!
