Even Higher Difficulty Levels
Following the conquest of the Dread Queen, two additional modes become accessible: “Mastery” and “Courting”. Mastery mode maintains its level of difficulty when replayed multiple times. In contrast, Courting mode presents such a high level of challenge that players must strive to create an optimally powerful save file in order to begin a New Game+ with a chance of clearing it.
Keep in mind that during your gameplay, neither “Expert” nor “Romancing” can be chosen intermittently. If you choose to decrease the difficulty later on, these options also won’t be available again.
