New PS5 Update Out Now, Allows You To Invite Random Internet Strangers Into Your Games

As a dedicated gamer with countless hours clocked into my PlayStation 5, I can’t help but feel excited about the latest PS5 update, version 24.05-09.60.00. The ability to invite other players to join my game sessions through a URL link is a game changer for me!

A recent PS5 software upgrade is now available, bringing common enhancements for better functionality and speed. Notably, this version introduces an innovative way for gamers to invite others to join their ongoing gaming experiences.

With the upcoming Update 24.05-09.60.00, players will have the ability to invite others to their ongoing game sessions by sharing a URL link. To do this, simply access the game session action card and click on the “Share Link” option to produce a QR code. Others can then scan the QR code using their mobile devices to join your session. For those feeling adventurous, you could potentially broadcast this URL link publicly online to attract potential multiplayer partners for a quick match if needed.

Members participating in the Voice Command trial have an additional option: they can say “Display Game Instructions” to access Game Help cards. Furthermore, Sony has refined the software of certain DualSense controllers to enhance their stability.

More recent PS5 firmware versions have brought about several enhancements for user experience, including solutions to Remote Play issues, the ability to customize system beeps, and various other refinements. Simultaneously, PlayStation Portable owners will now have greater flexibility as a new update permits connecting to public Wi-Fi networks.
