Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members are receiving the next-to-last game scheduled for late November and early December. It’s Marvel Cosmic Invasion, a retro-style beat ’em up created by Tribute Games, the studio known for games like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge and Mercenary Kings.
Marvel Cosmic Invasion is available today on a wide range of platforms, including PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and both standard and OLED Nintendo Switch consoles.
I’m really excited about Marvel Cosmic Invasion! You get to play as one of my favorites – Spider-Man, Captain America, Wolverine, or Nova – and basically, we’re all teaming up to save the galaxy from this supervillain, Annihilus, and his army. It’s a side-scrolling game where you go through different levels blasting through tons of enemies. It’s a lot of fun!
Every superhero has unique powers, abilities, and ways of fighting. At the start of each mission, you choose two characters and can freely switch between them to create powerful team attacks. Plus, the game offers a cooperative mode, allowing you to play with a friend locally or online.
