‘New-Gen Nanobot Heroes’ Animated Series in Works at Toonz Media Group (EXCLUSIVE)

Toonz Media Group has formed a strategic alliance with New-Gen Universe to produce “New-Gen Nanobot Heroes,” a 3D CGI animated series derived from the comic book universe of Marvel distribution, created by J.D. Matonti, Chris Matonti and Julia Coppola.

Following the storyline from the initial comic, the show delves into the struggle between forward-thinking figures Gabriel and Deadalus. It transports audiences to advanced utopian landscapes, Earth, and distant alien worlds, offering an adrenaline-pumping journey through the realm of nanotechnology as the producers label it.

In the aftermath of the original comic book, the show concentrates on the battle between advanced thinkers Gabriel and Deadalus. It takes viewers on a thrilling ride across futuristic utopias, Earth, and exotic alien planets, all while exploring the world of nanotechnology as the creators call it.

For the first season, there will be a total of 13 episodes, each lasting approximately 22 minutes. Brent Friedman (“Star Wars: The Clone Wars”) and Eugene Son (“Avengers Assemble”) will take care of the scriptwriting, with four more writers also contributing to the writing process.

This voiceover ensemble features Finn Wolfhard, known for “Stranger Things”; his brother Nick Wolfhard from “Fire Emblem”; Anya Chalotra, star of “The Witcher”; Luke Wilson, famous for “Stargirl”; Henry Rollins, recognized in “The Legend of Korra”; Lena Headey, prominent in “Game of Thrones”; Taylor Gray, celebrated in “Star Wars Rebels”; Molly Fahey, well-known from “Grand Theft Auto V”; and Tony Oliver, renowned for “Lupin the III”.

I, as a supporter, am thrilled to share that Toonz is taking on the role of financier, producer, and global distributor for this series. This company’s robust animation production capabilities, which churn out approximately 10,000 minutes of both 2D and CGI content annually for kids and family audiences, will be leveraged to bring our creation to the world.

The creators of the new generation, J.D. Matonti, Julia Coppola, and Chris Matonti, will serve as executive producers. Additionally, J.D. Matonti will take on the role of director to ensure a faithful adaptation of the original content.

Toonz is the perfect strategic collaborator for crafting the never-before-seen 3D CGI animation style, breathing life into the fascinating New-Gen story universe,” stated J.D. Matonti, the series director and executive producer. “Worldwide viewers will be enthralled by Nanobot Heroes: humans, creatures, and robots as they journey through New-Gen’s futuristic ideal world, both Earth and various alien planets.

P. Jayakumar, the CEO of Toonz Media Group, stated: “We’re constantly searching for unique, creative realms to animate at Toonz, and New-Gen fits that description perfectly. The blend of advanced storytelling, vibrant characters, and lush visual settings complements our drive for innovation in animation.

Ketchup Entertainment is responsible for distributing the series within our country. Following their recent triumph with “The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Loony Tunes Movie,” they view this project as a potential franchise.

According to Gareth West, CEO of Ketchup Entertainment, “New-Gen Nanobot Heroes” is designed for an innovative age of animation – it’s cinematic, serialized, and bound to be memorable. With Toonz and the New-Gen team, we’re not simply premiering a show, but rather, we’re introducing a whole universe.

Allan Grafman, being both president and CEO of All Media Ventures, orchestrated the agreement and will take on the role of executive producer. Meanwhile, J.D. Matonti is managed by Zero Gravity Management.

Toonz Media Group is proud of its accomplishments, such as working on “Wolverine and the X-Men” alongside Marvel, “Speed Racer: The Next Generation” with Lionsgate, and “Mostly Ghostly” with Universal. They are also venturing into areas like augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and video game technologies.

In simple terms, New-Gen Universe, Inc. functions as a company specializing in cross-medium content creation. They are dedicated to expanding their unique intellectual property (IP) across various platforms such as television, movies, video games, and innovative technologies. Their advisory board consists of creative minds from the New-Gen sector, ex-CFO of Marvel Entertainment Ken West, and Bonnie Arnold, a producer renowned for “How To Train Your Dragon.

Ketchup Entertainment’s current lineup features the purchase of global rights for “Coyote vs. Acme,” as well as “Goodrich” starring Michael Keaton and Mila Kunis, directed by Hallie Meyers-Shyer, and Michel Franco’s award-winning movie “Memory,” which stars Jessica Chastain and Peter Sarsgaard.
